Organic Grain Ltd. Is an agricultural producer based in Varna, Bulgaria. The company farms land over a wide area in the Varna and Dobrich regions. North-Eastern Bulgaria is distinguished by the extremely high quality of its soil, a favorable climate and suitable topography for growing grain crops.
The main focus of our work is the production and export of organically grown spelt wheat. Other crops in rotation include sunflower, regular wheat and a number of other grain crops. With over 150 hectares of the best soil in exploitation, Organic Grain Ltd is the largest producer of spelt in the country and the region. Certification along the lines of European Commission directive (EC) No 834/2007 serves as a guarantee of the quality of our produce.
Our main client target group are mills, distributors, traders and end users in Western and Central Europe, even though cooperation with entities outside EU borders is possible. We are actively searching to develop long-term trade partnerships.

Spelt (Triticum Spelta), also known as Dinkel is a variety of wheat of great historical significance, cultivated throughout Antiquity and Medieval times. It is distinguished by a high protein and fiber content. The plant’s natural resistance to illness and low dependence of fertilizer makes it an outstanding candidate for organic growing. These are among the main reasons for the resurge of popularity of the so-called “Ancient Wheat” in the health food market. Spelt flour is suitable for the manufacturing of bread, a variety of pastas and other food products.
